Well, 6:30 AM, the phone rang & the guy wanted some money. He had another job & could not be here when I come back from work. He start arguing with Nick saying it would take a long while for the job be done. When Nick said he would be paid when the job would be done as state in his contract, he asked to put his tools outside he was to pick them up.
6:55AM he came , took his tools and left.
So, now, we have to finish ourselves I guess.......What a way to start a week..
Look the way he left the inside and we cleaned & swept last night.

6:30 AM, le gars appelle pour demander de l'argent. Il a un autre job et ne peut etre la quand je termine le travail. Il s'obstine avec Nick disant que cela va prendre une eternite pour etre termine. Quand Nick lui dit qu'il va etre payer a la fin des travaux comme stipule dans son contrat, il demande de mettre ses outils dehors pour venir les chercher.
6:55 AM. il est venu, a ramasse ses outils et est parti.
Alors maintenant ils ne nous restent ................qu'a termine le job...Belle facon de commencer la semaine.
Voila l'etat dans lequel il a laisse la maison & nous avons balaye et nettoye un peu hier soir.

ReplyDeleteDo you have another person you can call? I'm glad you stuck with your contract. Who knows if he would have come back or not. Also, he may have wanted to avoid you because he scratched up your new floor.
