Sad day....

3 of Lightning's babies are dead this morning. Nick thinks the others 2 might die also been outside the nest box.
Still can't see any of Vee's.
We will not name them

Lightning a perdu 3 bebes. Nick pense que les autres ne vont pas survivre car le nid est a l'exterieur de la boite. On ne voit toujours pas ceux de Vee.

The bunnies are born.....Les lapereaux sont nes

Vee had her babies yesterday afternoon. She build her nest in the nest box.
This morning I saw Lightning nested outside the nest box. It is covered with all her black hair. They both seems in a good shape.
Lightning had 5 bunnies.

Vee a eu ses bebes hier apres-midi. Elle a fait son nid a l'interieur de la boite.
Ce matin, j'ai vu Lightning a l'exterieur de sa boite. C'est la qu'elle a fait son nid recouvert de son poils tres noir. Elle a eu 5 lapereaux.
Elles semblent en pleine forme toutes les deux.
